We are still working hard on our new web site http://creativegardens.com.au
Even though there isn't many products to offer yet, we are writing lots of content to keep our visitors informed.
The types of products we will be offering for sale are as follows, landscaping supplies, bird feeders, cat and dog supplies, garden ornaments, special glow rocks, and other garden and backyard goodies.
As we have plenty of knowledge on home building, the metal trades, retail, gardening, and landscaping, our newsletter, subscribers, and website visitors should be well catered for.
We'll also have home improvement and DIY - Do It Yourself videos audio, slideshows and maybe even podcasts. It is much easier to follow along with a how how to make home improvements video then reading a book or web page.

WOW - Time flies

Last month or so has been hectic.

We believe that now most people have high speed internet, it's time they should be able to get the benefits of multimedia, when exploring a website. If a picture is worth 1000 words, a video is worth 10,000. This helps the consumer make better informed buying decisions.

It's been a while.
Business is booming and I have very little time.
At present I am working about 14/7/365. But I have to try to catch up on what I need and want to do.

We think we will drop the price by about 40 percent so more customers can try this excellent and inovative product.
My fancy Dress costume is growing but needs lots more stock.

Fancy dress costumes and me

It's a new branch of our business, that is barely one month old, and has lots of potential.

We started this business because we love dressing up, especially when going clubbing.

Yes, I go clubbing (night clubs) with my sons; They have no objections to me tagging along. Now how many parents can say their kids have no objections to their parents going to the same night club as them.

Anyway we started this new business venture (My Fancy Dress Costume) to give visitors a one stop, Fancy dress shop, to buy all their fancy dress, costumes, party supplies including novelty items, and more all at the one place.

We are selling the normal types of fancy dress items, but also will be introducing lots of weird and wonderful, items, to make their experience a whole lot better.

We are and will be offering products that people wouldn't normally think of, when deciding what to wear, and how to look, for their special event.

Who am I...

Hello

My name is Paul, and I live about 60 miles north of the Centre of Sydney, in the land down under, Australia.
I own and operate Glow Paint Industries, a mostly web based business, selling Glow in the Dark Products. The web address is http://www.glowpaint.com.au
My employees range from my two sons Matt and Jason, as well as a few other part time workers.
My back ground is as follows. I was born in Ryde hospital Sydney. I attended three schools, including Our lady of the peace, Holy cross college, and Malvina high school.
After school I did a four year apprenticeship in Fitting and Machining. This trade background has helped me to think outside the square, when researching potential applications for Glow in the Dark Products.
For the next 18 years I worked as a fitter for different companies, including, Bonds, Domino mining equipment, Kolmar, and Panel Plant.
I also built two homes; the second was on 7.5 acres of virgin bushland. The house was 28.5 squares.
In 1980 I married my wife who worked for a bank in Sydney. We then moved to the Central Coast just north of Sydney.
Unfortunately in 1995, my wife of 15 year walked out, as she was having an affair with a married man, whom was a friend, so I believed.
She offered to allow me to raise the children, who were nine and seven years old at the time. I naturally agreed to raise them. It was a struggle and I recieved very little help from her from that point on, and my family lived in sydney.
In 1996 or 1997 I was sacked from my fitters job at a local Mining equipment manufacturer. The reason given was I had to much time off, and I agree with that. I did have lots of time off as my eldest son is asthmatic and was often ill. Keep in mind it is hard to run a business if employees continually have time off. When I was sacked, I felt great relief, as I had been under immense pressure for the prior two years.
I was now a single male soul parent, who had about 37 years of life's experiences.
I didn't want to waste, my knowledge, and wanted to learn more, so I started to attend TAFE to learn the technical side of my passions.
I now have, certificate II in information technology, certificate IV in business, and also certificate IV in training and assessment. I was also studying to obtain a Diploma in Business marketing, but haven't finished it due to work commitments.
All of the above schooling, jobs, home building and education has given me first hand knowledge on a diverse range of business, and general knowledge subjects.
The above education and my addiction to computers, have helped me to start and successfully run the above business.
Those who have visited my web site will see I am very creative in my thoughts, (I love research and development). Glow in the dark products can be used just about anywhere, from workplace safety, and advertising, to Arts, Crafts, hobbies, and home improvements.
I truely believe Glow in the dark products have near infinite uses, and this is becomming more of a fact as time goes on.

Premium x 3 Glow in the Dark Pigments

Hello again

Our biggest seller of glow in the dark pigments is Premium Green. This commerical grade glow pigment, glows brighter, and glows longer than any other pigment.
The only negetive is it has a large particle size. So we are introducing two new Premium green Glow pigments, that that have a smaller pigment size.
These two new glow in the dark premium pigments, also out glow all other pigments, and one of them (PG2600) seems suitable to spray painting. Have a look at our comming soon and Research and Development pages for more information on these new premium glow pigments.
I am still updating the website to the new look.

If your into novelty contact lenses here's a good place to get them. http://www.eccontactlenses.com.au/ They have UV black light, crazy and one, two and three tone contact lenses, and at a great price. I know, I buy from them.

Now on to hobbies and craft insights.
At the moment we are still researching glow in the dark fabric paint, ceramic paint, and stained glass paints. All seem promising, especially the stained glass glow paints.

Glow in the Dark - latest

Hello

The last few days has seen us researching strained glass techniques combined with glow in the dark pigments.

We have some special paint that will adhere to glass so now we need to test it. We will use fine grade pigments to avoid the paint being lumpy.

We have for the time being stopped selling glow in the dark face and body paints. We have had some problems with the amount of illunination produced.

We have been informed that our site is messy, so...... we are now doing some spring cleaning on it.

This Glow in the dark chalk is more expensive than the glow chalk sold in some craft stores, but this glows about 100 times better.

Glowing in the Dark chalk and tape

Well the work week has began, it's day one and I'm really tired. That's life.

On saturday we made some new colors of Glow in the dark chalk. One of the colours Orange, isn't one of the best for illumination, but the orange day colour, will help expand the range of colours in light conditions.

The last few weeks has also seen us gathering information on using glow in the dark pigments with ceramic glaze. I have a Artist customer (She considers me a supplier), I consider her a friend, doing research for herself and passing along the results to us.

If anyone can see the beauty of Glow in the dark fashion and would like to try out some ideas, go to our forum at http://glowpaint.com.au/yabb/ There's some information on using glow in the dark and reflective tape as a belt, glow in the dark fingernails, and a few more examples.

It's amazing what glow in the dark products are used for; Universities use pigments to track native animal movements at night; Scouts use them on their arrows; dance studios use glow paint on shoes for performances, Angler's use them on lures; homeowners use them to paint recreational room and there's many more not listed.
